Our Apartment
Our ground-floor apartment has two spacious two-person bedrooms, a sleeping couch in the living room, and a modern bathroom. The well-equipped kitchen gives out on a large terrace with a lounge where you can relax after a long day at the beach.

“Mirian’s place is wonderful. A home away from home in a beach town just outside Aveiro. The beach is wonderful for walks, watching the kiters and eating at good restaurants. The home was perfect for our stay with a great side patio and full kitchen. It’s close to cafes, markets and restaurants. Mirian is the best host ever as she really went out of her way to help me with a left behind item. The house is very clean and the bed was comfortable. You will not be disappointed if you rent this place.”

“I had such a lovely stay here and I would highly recommend it!! It was my home away from home for a few days. It’s just a two minute walk to the beach and I discovered a really nice boardwalk along the beach that led to the charming town of Costa Nova, which is known for their beautifully decorated striped houses. The town of Aveiro is about a 10-minute drive and there are Ubers available if you don’t have a car. Mirian also had a cake waiting for me in the fridge for my birthday- so nice! That made my day. I would highly recommend!!”

“We spent wonderful holidays in the cosy, spacious, well equipped and very clean apartment of Mirian in Barra. Mirian is a very kind and gentle host. We have been welcomed with a bowl of fresh fruit. At Barra we enjoyed the near seaside with its beautiful and very clean beach. We watched many fishes at the pier and visited Porto and Coimbra without and difficulties by bus and train. Thank you very much Mirian for your kind hospitality.”

House Rules
- Check-in: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Checkout: 11:00 AM
- No pets
- No parties or events
- Copy of ID card/Passport from all guests must be sent by email before checkin. It’s mandatory by Portuguese Law to register all guests on an Accommodation Bulletin, including babies.
- If you want to use our underground private parking, the number plate must be informed before checkin.
- The BBQ must be cleaned immediately after use.
- The alarm system must be switched on when leaving the apartment and when going to sleep.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the apartment.
- The humidifier in the bathroom must be switched on every time someone showers.
- Respect silence hours: limit noise after 10 PM.
